Terms & Conditions
These Terms & Conditions apply to all clients of Silver Spoon Victoria’s In-Home Meal Prep Service.
1. Service Description
Silver Spoon Victoria provides a private chef, in-home meal preparation service.
Each session includes menu planning, grocery shopping (grocery costs are not included and are billed separately based on store receipts), meal preparation in the client’s home, packaging, labeling, and kitchen cleanup.
Meals are prepared fresh during the scheduled session and are intended to serve the household based on the selected package.
2. Booking & Payment
A 50% deposit, paid at least 3 days in advance, is required to secure your scheduled service date.
The remaining balance is due on the day of service.
We accept e-transfer and other agreed payment methods.
3. Grocery Costs
Groceries are not included in the service price.
• Grocery costs are billed separately based on store receipts
• Clients may request a preferred store
• An estimated grocery budget may be provided in advance
All grocery purchases are treated as reimbursable expenses.
4. Cancellations & Rescheduling
Clients may reschedule or cancel their session with at least 48 hours notice.
• Cancellations within 48 hours may result in loss of deposit
• Same-day cancellations are non-refundable
• Rescheduling is subject to availability
5. Access & Kitchen Conditions
Clients agree to provide a clean, safe, and functional kitchen environment for the service.
• Basic equipment (stove, oven, refrigerator, workspace) must be available
• Clients must ensure access to the home at the scheduled time
Silver Spoon Victoria is not responsible for delays caused by unsuitable kitchen conditions.
6. Allergies & Dietary Requirements
We take allergies and dietary preferences seriously and will do our best to accommodate them when communicated in advance.
However:
• We cannot guarantee a completely allergen-free environment
• Clients are responsible for reviewing ingredients and confirming suitability
7. Food Storage & Safety
Meals are prepared fresh and intended for proper storage:
• Refrigerate meals promptly after preparation
• Consume within 3–5 days or freeze if needed
Silver Spoon Victoria is not responsible for food safety once meals have been stored improperly by the client.
8. Liability
While we take every precaution to ensure safety and quality:
• Silver Spoon Victoria is not liable for allergic reactions, injuries, or damages arising from the consumption of meals or use of the client’s kitchen
• Clients assume responsibility for their kitchen environment and equipment
9. Satisfaction
Client satisfaction is very important to us.
If there are any concerns, please contact us within 24 hours so we can address the issue promptly.
10. Acceptance
By booking a service, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.
